We recently had the most wonderful night full of spirit, fun and laughter, whilst raising money for an extremely important cause.
Raising awareness for these causes is hard work – we all like to donate and contribute to causes we care about, but often people can’t afford to donate to all the worthwhile causes they wish they could.
Help can be given in so many creative ways – in this case through neighbours, friends and acquaintances all coming together and showing a fabulous sense of community. The hard work of everyone involved meant the evening had a huge impact, raising £2534 to be divided between Midlands Air Ambulance and West Mercia Search and Rescue – both invaluable resources.
Congratulations to Chris, Glenys and Christy on a brilliant night and thanks to Ridges Farm for being fantastic hosts for the evening.
The designers for the night were all incredible and a massive round of applause needs to go to the models (which included my husband, kids and neighbours) – you all strutted your stuff brilliantly!
I’m delighted to have been a part of this and to have been able to contribute our own donations. It is a privilege to live in such a beautiful county where communities come together.
