Our First licensing with My Gift Trade

Artist signs deal at Harrogate Home & Gift Buyers' Festival.

Meg Hawkins Art is delighted to announce her first ever FMCG and homewares license. My Gifts Trade will reproduce a range of Meg's pieces on home and giftware, which will launch in February 2018.

Says Meg: 'This takes my art to a whole new audience and I'm so excited to be working with My Gifts Trade as they have such a strong heritage and work with a number of leading brands.'

After exhibiting at several trade shows in the past few months, Meg Hawkins watercolour artist and designer has expanded her licensing more and more with signing her second product range of kitchen and homeware including aprons, oven mits, trays, mugs, glass coaster, chopping boards, umbrellas and cushions with My Gift Trade to be launched February 2018. Meg's new botanic range has become one of her most desirable to several retail shops and licensees. With these two confirmed licensees under her belt she's now on the lookout for opportunities to extend her ever growing brand.

Meg's licence for Christmas wrapping paper with Instawrap will be available from August 2018.

Nicky Courtney said of the collaboration, “We love British design and work closely with some of the UK's most original and inspiring designers to develop products that bring their talent to a wider market. We recognized Megs work as something that would work well with us.”

Meg has just returned from Home & Gift, Harrogate which was the location for the deal to be struck between these two British businesses. Speaking about the collaboration, Meg says, “It is incredibly exciting to announce that my collections have been licensed by this fantastic British gifts company. The designs that will soon feature are my Botanical and the Bees & Butterflies range. I'm so delighted to be working with My Gifts Trade and can't wait to see my designs appear on the market.”

The team at My Gifts Trade take pride in providing their stockists with the best support, supplying products that have lasting appeal for a wide range of people and different occasions. Meg's collections with My Gifts Trade will launch in Spring 2018. Inspired by this collaboration, Meg is now working on brand new designs and collections and is seeking to build new collaborations with other giftware.
